Routable Cycle Map version 2015.10 not loading

I have been trying to download the Routable Cycle Map of Europe version 2015.10 on to my edge 1000 all weekend.

It gets as far as a second into stage 1 when it kicks me back into the express "start page" with the comment "There was an error installing the update".

Is anyone else having this problem and if so have you resolved it and if possible can you tell me how please?

I have tried resetting the edge 1000 but to no avail.

I am sorry that you are having trouble downloading your map update. I tested your download and was able to install it without any issues. I would recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:
What should I do if I am having problems downloading updates in Garmin Express?

You can also try removing the device from Express, restarting the computer and then adding the device to Express again.

If this does not solve the problem, it would be best to contact support by phone so that we can troubleshoot the issue.

Hi,

same problem showed in here with Edge 1000 and 2015.10 maps (osx 10.3.3).

Followed Wheato48 suggestion, it seems it worked:

* removed the edge1000 from Garmin Express (not from Garmin Connect option).
* rebooted
* added edge1000 to Garmin Express
* update of maps (step 3 of 3) started ok (abt 2h30min on adsl)
