Garmin Express doesn't recognize Nuvi550 on Mac

Hi,

I wonder if you could help me with something.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 550 and I've been trying to connect it to my Mac running OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 while running Garmin Express (4.0.18.0).

But unfortunately, every time I try the program simply doesn't detect it. What am I missing?
