Garmin Express Auto Launch

Within Garmin Express Preferences, I have 'Automatically Launch Garmin Express when a Garmin device is connected' checked, and 'Always keep Garmin Express running in the background' checked too, but whenever I connect my Fenix 3 it doesn't launch .... Is it supposed to, and how do I get it to do so??

Also, is there a way to eject my Fenix 3 or do I have to do it from the finder / desktop. I'm forever disconnecting it without ejecting it first as I can't seem to remember to eject it - I'm just not used to having to do so as my 910XT didn't mount on the desktop as an external drive.

Similar issue here using FR220 and Garmin Express v4.0.21.0 (Win7 64bit)

Every time I have to launch the app manually from the system tray, then select device and then click on 'Garmin connect' in order to get to the dashboard. Garmin express just won't start automatically.

Also would be great to have an option to launch the app and jump to the connected device automatically.

Garmin Express will launch if a fitness device is connected that is not already added. If the fitness device is added it will not launch automatically. This is already reported to the Garmin Express developers.
