Where's the option to force a sync now?

Latest version of Express, couldn't upload last night. New activities this morning - but after rebooting/re-launching express and power cycling my Forerunner, nothing happens when I open Express. It just sits there, and I don't see how I can tell it to check my device for new activities.

Seriously, developers, please fix this terrible application. Just give us an option to get our .fit files so that we can do what we want with them. Stop being clever until you can make a reliable application that works.

Seconding, bring back the manual sync button. This is a critical usability feature--and a huge oversight to remove it in an attempt at minimalism.

Forcing uploads from my FR610 doesn't work, period, so that is not a solution.

What is the supposed solution here when the initial transfer fails, as it does all too frequently?

The solution did work for me on a 610 just now - but agree its hugely frustrating and would make me consider other brands next time

The new Garmin Express is poor. Even worse than the application before it. No sync button... Are you serious?

The fact I now have to connect, reconnect, connect, and reconnect to get a sync is beyond me.

Such terrible design. But you can't expect more from Garmin.

After Garmin Express 3.2.17 and Firmware 4.50 on my 310XT I thought Garmin had finally cracked syncing (on my 6 year old device!). And now Express 4 is installed and my 310XT has stopped syncing and there's no way to even force a manual sync anymore.

ARRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!

I keep pondering what to buy when my 310XT eventually expires; the biggest thing putting me off Garmin at the moment is the constant software 'upgrades' where features keep disappearing and new bugs keep appearing... I understand that new advances bring new bugs occasionally, but please can we at least keep the old features?

The new Interface is the stupidest things garmin can do! we are moving backward to my surprise! GARMIN, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT the previous one is much better...
