Garmin Express Won't Sync

I'm very disappointed in the Garmin Express software. It won't sync and sometimes will or won't recognize my FR 405. I never had problems before this update. I have uninstalled and re-installed GE and don't want to have to do this each time I want to upload my activities. Often when I turn on my computer I am prompted to install GE, even though it is already installed.

Pretty poor, Garmin.

I have an iMac running Mavericks and all versions of software are up to date on all devices.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am sorry for the troubles. Please see the FAQ: What troubleshooting options can I try when my ANT enabled fitness device will not upload data? Even though you can transfer at times this process will ensure that there are no left over files causing problems.
