Health and Fitness data not syncing on 920XT

The step count and sleep movement data suddenly went missing from my 920xt syncs. It worked for several weeks (just got the watch over Xmas) but now I loose all the sleep data and any steps that get counted after syncing but before the end of the day. If I fail to sync the device one day, I get no steps.
I've tried resetting the 920xt and clearing out all the activities - no help. Correct step counts show up on the watch itself for the past week.

  • I've sent three messages to support. The first reply was fairly generic and didn't really respond to the information I sent. The second reply had a few other things to look at, but none of them pertained to my issues. I just sent in another message with more details. Hopefully this will spark a more targeted response.
  • The problem was finally resolved via a master reset:

    Press and hold the Light button then select yes to power off the watch.
    Press and hold the Up and Down arrows.
    Once the two buttons from step 2 are pressed in, press the Light button and release when the device powers on.
    After the first beep, release the Up button.
    After the second beep, release down button.
