Well perhaps with more information someone could help. What device? What maps were initially installed (if any)? How did you 'buy' the map? What have you tried to download it?
I have a Nuvi 1490.I already had a Morocco map installed which I was informed had expired. I have Europe with lifetime updates. I bought the map through Garmins website and I am trying to download it via the link Garmin supplied.
Under Garmins web page Manage Maps I click download map. I choose the options and I receive a message " A file with the same name already exists on your device or card. You will have the choice of replacing the existing file or saving the file somewhere else." I proceed and eventually it says that the file has been loaded. I go back to the map manage page and it still says download map. When I check on my orders from Garmin for the map it says pending.
Hi After I have download the Morocco map I go back and this is what appears on my map manage page.

Have you checked your device to see if it has downloaded? Just wonder what makes you think it hasn't when you're being told that a file with the same name already exists on your device?
I don't have any experience with the Morocco map. I know you said you had a message saying it had 'expired', did that specifically mention the Morocco map? Equally it may be that there isn't a newer map, which is why you're getting the message about a file with the same name?
You could also try removing that file from your nuvi and then trying the download again to see what happens.
I am sorry about the confusion with your map purchase. It looks like there was an old Morocco map from 2012 that was purchased but never downloaded that was causing the problem. I am showing that you have downloaded the latest version so it should now be on your device. If not, go ahead and try the download again now that we have removed the old version off of the account.
