I am sorry that you are having trouble syncing your 910XT. You may have a corrupt activity file on your computer. The easiest way to fix this is to just remove the device from Garmin Express and repair it again. To remove the device from Garmin Express:

Sometimes Garmin files are corrupted and then the upload stalls trying to upload those files. Garmin syncs your watch to a local folder and keeps them there to try and sync. over and over again, stopping your queue. They might be salvageable but you have to do some digging.
You can find them in this locations:
    Mac: Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Devices/[device id]/History
I would suggest to move all your files to a sub folder or elsewhere (e.g. Documents/GarminBackup). It's pretty easy to see what you last ones were as they are timestamped. You can try to manually upload the b0rked files or contact Garmin to help fix them. I think there are also some tools available online to do that for you.
Now, with an empty folder there is nothing to block your sync. Make a new workout on your watch, just start it for a couple of seconds, and try to sync again. It should work now, it has done so for me on several occasions.
