Can't get more than 4-5% of map update

I am running Garmin Express 3.2.27.0 on Yosemite 10.10.1 with nuvi 2455.

Even updating to device version 8.20 took a few tries.

I have tried updating just Full Coverage of North America 2015.30 as well as trying it along with nuMaps Lifetime North America Download. I cannot get passed 5% on either.

I have tried doing the map updates with the nuvi plugged in as well as not plugged in.

Try as suggested and contact Customer Support. Clearly there is an issue somewhere and they should be able to resolve it for you.

Just adding another user who hasn't been able to update a map for a couple of weeks.
All software up to date on both Mac and Edge Touring Plus.
Currently at 18% on my first try with Express 3.2.28.0.

Update:

I'm on a DSL connection that is 2x better than the one I have at home. First try got me up to 44% before data stopped coming. Upon Garmin Express restart, it resumed at 33%.

2nd try: 69%, resumed at 45%. Barely got to 46% before data stopped.

5th try: nuMaps Lifetime completed. Full coverage North America 2015.30 ~81%, maxing around 600KB/s, averaging 300-400KB/s. May finish in 30 minutes!

I am under the impression that my update is complete, even though Garmin Express didn't get all the way to 100% on the install process. It stopped somewhere around 96% saying that it was waiting for other updates or something, and 2 minutes forever remaining.

I quit Garmin Express and checked the nuvi and it seems to indicate that CN North America NT 2015.30 ALL is in fact installed.
I guess we'll know that it isn't if it tries to drive me off of a cliff somewhere?
