Forerunner 910xt won't sync with Express

I previously used ANT agent , but seeing as I have a Garmin Edge and use Express for that I wanted to use just Express for both.
I downloaded up to date version of Express and it told me I had to delete ANT agent.

Express will recognize my Edge 1000 , but not my Forerunner 910 XT.

How can I get this resolved please ?

Just replying for recording purposes, both myself and my husband are having issue syncing activities from our 910xt to our Mac 10.10 using FF v34.
It says that is sending the data but is never received on my Garmin connect and is driving us both mad.

Will give the above troubleshooting guide a go and report back if it works. If not I will start a new thread.
