Nuvi 1300 Map Update STUCK at building phase

Hi, I 've fired up Garmin Express yesterday in order to update the Maps on my device (Nuvi 1300) and left it overnight to finish

As of today the pages/status is still the same "Installing 1 item >3 hours remaining..." and the details pane says Lower 49 states 2015.30, Building.

Can you please provide what do I need to do in order to get the latest maps in to my device ?

I could not find a Nuvi associated with the email associated with this myGarmin account. If you continue to have trouble completing the map update, see the FAQ: What should I do if I'm having issues with the Garmin Express client? . Following the suggestions in the article, register the Nuvi using the email associated with your Display Name Jorge_Cabello. I will be able to check out the Nuvi if you continue to have troubles.

Good afternoon Curt,

I've followed your steps below, but I am still seeing the same behavior.

a) The Garmin item is now registered to my email.
b) I've updated the Garmin Express application to the latest version (3.2.26.0) and tried again.

The unit is connected, the overall status is "Installing 1 item... 5 minutes remaining..." and the Map Update section task is "Building" greyed out.

Please let me know what other steps I need to take to update my Garmin to the latest maps.

The update went through after I rebooted my machine a second time and tried again.
