EDGE 200 cannot connect to OS X

Hi,
I am using OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, and find my EDGE 200 cannot connect to it. The EDGE can work with Windows well, so I don't what's the issue with it. Here the step what I did:
1. download the Garmin Express from garmin.com;
2. install Garmin Express;
3. open Garmin Express and Click "Get Started";
4. Garmin Express says "Device Connection Required";
5. I connect my EDGE 200 to Macbook via USB;
6. a few minutes later, Garmin Express says "No Device Found";

I've tried to reboot my macbook and tried to connect EDGE 200 first and open Garmin Express later, but it still cannot work. So anyone knows how can I do now? Thanks!
  • Does your Edge show up on the Desktop when it's plugged in as a disk? Does it show up in your USB tree? (About This Mac -> System Report -> USB)

    No, is was not shown up in my USB tree, and after I plugged in there was no responsibility about my Macbook. however, Edge was shown charging when i plugged in.
  • So now there are two things to try. First, it could be the cable. There are cables made that are "charging only", and only have the two pins connected that provide power to whatever is plugged in. You'd probably know if you had one, but just in case, try another cable if you have one. Second, the USB port you're plugging into might be bad. Do you have something else that you can plug into the port (USB stick, for example) to see if it's working?
