I have had a longer break from my cardio training and have not synced since 29 of April. Now trying to get back, I have 6 sessions to upload. First out, I upgraded to Garmin Express from the old sync software. Proceeded to upgrade firmware to 3.0. No activities sent through sync. Proceeded to find the hidden ~/Library. Had to copy the files out of the hidden folder to upload through Garmin Connect manual upload. Connect was unable to read the .fit files. So no sync and no manual upload. I get the error message in swedish but it says along the lines of "There was an error in the transfer. Please try again later." Tried all six files. How do I proceed?
Solved it. The Devices-folder had med going. In ~/Library, find Garmin and the folder Devices. If there are any old activities that has not yet been transferred in that folder, copy them to another place. Then delete folder "Devices". To test after, make a 10-second activity and sync. Worked for me on Mac. The strange thing was that I could manually upload my saved activities after having done all of this. But not before... Makes no sense to me. Coincidence maybe...
