Unable to connect 910XT to Garmin Connect via Garmin Express

Hi,

I've never been able to connect my 910XT to GC via GE, so I kept on using the G Ant+. Today I decided to give a new try. I've been struggling for hours with no success. Thanks to this forum, I found out I had to remove ANT+ software first as well as delete the 910 file in the Device file. I also deleted the GE software and files. And reinstalled GE, removed the 910XT from GE (without removing it from GC). It seemed to work then as :
- the 910 was detected
- I could add it to GE
- the 910 asked me to be paired with GE
- I was asked either to create a GC account or to link the 910 to my GC account (I chose the latter), I was asked my account user and pwd (which I keyed it)
- then, I am stuck on this screen with no more sign of any connection between 910 and GE.

I've done the procedure several times. I have cleared the 910 of all activities and trainings. Just created a new activity to have something to transfer. I also noticed the the pairing was disabled although I had selected yes when the 910 asked me whether to pair it with GE. So I enabled it in the settings. I noticed later it was disabled again. I enabled it again. Now it is enabled. I clicked on the small circled arrow so that GE searches the 910. Still doesn't work.

I am about to give up... Would you be able to help solve this ?? Thank you for your help, you are my last chance.

    Another probably useful information : I had the idea to try to install GE on another MacBook (I have 2 of them for different use, both are on Yosemite). I had never installed any Garmin software on it. It worked perfectly with not a single bug. So I tried again on the MacBook I use with Garmin, removing GTC, removing from the Apple's "trousseau d'accès" some kind of key which seemed to have a connection with ANT+ and GC. Reinstalled GE... in vain :-(.
    Hope this last piece of information will help to find what's wrong.
  • According to the screenshot nothing really looks wrong. Granted I don't read French, but it's looking like Express is attempting to look for the device and sync. Does it ever give an error? If so, what is it? Are you up to date with Express on this computer?

  • Try the following:
    Unpair your device
    Uninstall Garmin Express
    (Re)install Ant Agent
    Reinstall Garmin Express - you should get a message about unistalling ANT Agent
    Re-pair your device
    Reconnect you GC account

    How do you unpair the device? I've been trying to figure out how to do that in hopes I can resolve my similar ongoing and aggravating issues.

    When I click on the device, nothing happens. There's not pop up inviting me to delete it. I tried "right" clicking as well - nothing.
