Garmin Express can't sync properly to Garmin Connect

Tried to sync this afternoon and got "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect" (the error was "Unknown error" -- helpful).

Tried a couple more times, got an update notification. Installed the update, same problem.

Deleted the Garmin Express app and reinstalled from download. Same problem.

Deleted my 620 from Garmin Express and re-added it. Now Garmin Connect website has a "Congratulations on your new Forerunner 620" (thanks, I guess) but still can't sync, same error.

I *really* wish they would figure out the update stuff because I need to go through this uninstall/reinstall loop pretty much every update and it's annoying as hell. I thought Garmin was a premium brand?

    When you delete the Forerunner 620 from Garmin Express make sure you choose to Delete it from Garmin Connect, then add it back and sync with your account. Looking at your Garmin Connect account info, it doesn't appear a Forerunner 620 has ever been Synced with it. I understand there is an error but could it be the username and password being entered, or are you using a Garmin Connect account in anothers name?

    The Activities on the Forerunner 620 can be manually uploaded. Please see the information in the FAQ: How do I manually upload data from USB devices to Garmin Connect?

    Once you get any Activities uploaded and address the question above we should be able to provide you with more information.

    When I sync my Foreunner 610, the message "Sync Complete! View Data at Garmin Connect" appears on Garmin Express, but the activity doesn't show on the Garmin Connect web page.
    What I'm doing wrong?

    Sometimes the sync can take a couple minutes to go through even though it says it is done. That being said, I would follow the instructions in the following article to ensure that Express is up to date:

    Once that is done, I would also recommend a restart on the computer. Once you restart Express, I would see if it uploaded the activity to Connect. If not, attempt to sync again.

    Solution found!!!!
    I had 4 run not syncing. This was solved when I created a workout on garmin connect and tried to sync the workout. That and the 4 runs were synced successfully.
