I have been regularly using the new interface of garmin connect and the old ant agent to upload my runs / bikes.
In fact, until last night, I was unaware of the new garmin express – lucky me.
I had difficulty last night uploading 4 new activities with the ant agent and when I went to manually upload from garmin connect, it said that I did not have garmin express installed. So, I uninstalled the ant agent and installed garmin express.
First problem, it uploaded my 4 new activities, but they managed not show any of the 1km lap splits for bikes or runs. I double checked my activities in strava and the 1km lap counter was on for both the runs and bikes. I also checked the actual device and I can see the 1km lap splits in the history of all the activities.
So, I deleted the activities and hoped to upload them again. And this is my second frustrating problem, garmin express is not actually syncing anything. So, when I sync the device, nothing new uploads.
I have tried creating new activities, in addition to the 4 actual activities I want to upload, in the hope that this will prompt garmin express to recognize new activities on the device, but no joy.
I would be so grateful, if anyone has any advice on this, it is beyond frustrating.
