310xt Activity disappears

Two activities from 310xt appeared to upload to Garmin Connect via Garmin Express, but they're not there. Unfortunately, I had the "delete after upload" feature enabled so they're gone. About 2:50 EDT today. Argh.

    If Express said the Sync was successful but Connect doesn't show them under the Activities menu there are a couple things to check.

    1. Make sure you are holding the Lap\Reset button on the watch until it counts back from 3 after every activity.
    2. Reauthorize your Garmin Connect account
    • Open Express
    • Click Device
    • Scroll down to the Garmin Connect Account section
    • Click Change account
    • Enter your Username and Password again

    3. Create a 30 second test activity and see if it uploads

    I suggest you disable the "Erase data on this device after a successful sync" setting in Express. You can check a location on your computer to see if the activities made it off the watch and up to connect.

    1. Click Finder icon
    2. Click the Go menu at the top of your screen
    3. Click Go to Folder
    4. Type this exactly, ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/GarminConnect/
    5. Click Go
    6. Open Forerunner 310XT folder
    7. Open Upload
    8. Open FIT_TYPE_4

    Any files in this folder are activities from the watch. The name of the file corresponds to the data they were created. You can use the instructions in the FAQ: How do I manually upload data from ANT devices to Garmin Connect? at http://support.garmin.com
