The brightness setting under Display keeps reverting to 20% despite multiple attempts to set it at anywhere between 75%-100%. The sudden drop in brightness happens at irregular intervals, sometimes a few seconds after I've set it and sometimes several minutes later. It occurs when I'm using the device at home, with it plugged into the mains so that there is no question of it being triggered by a low battery. Much more worryingly, it's occurred when I've been driving, with the device connected, and the display became so dark that it was virtually illegible.
I have a similar problem with setting the time. On several occasions I've switched on the device only to find the current time setting is completely wrong and has to be reset from scratch. When I come back to the device a while later, the current time is again incorrect by quite a margin - not just a few minutes but hours out of kilter. This plays havoc with my expected time of arrival as shown on the device.
How can I ensure these settings remain as inputted and don't change unpredictably?
