Garmin Express Installer hangs

I downloaded Garmin Express but when I launch the installer it just hangs at the "Introduction" step. I'm trying to install it so I can set up my Vivofit. I have an iMac running 10.8.5

Any suggestions?

There are no reports of the Installer stalling on the Introduction portion. Make sure the ANT stick is not connected during the installation. Restart the Mac and verify you are signed in under an Administrator account before starting the installer.
