Garmin Express slowdown iMac

After installing Garmin Express my iMac slowdowns. I've got major problems with the performance of my computer. After I uninstalled Garmin Express my iMac didn't have any problems anymore. Now I try to install Garmin Express on my MacBook after uninstalling Garmin Ant Agent and know I couldn't connect with my Garmin 310XT.

Is there anybody who's have a solution to my problem or some one has the same experience with slowing down a Macintosh computer after installing Garmin software because it isn't the first time I've got problems with my computer after installing Garmin software.

The only time Express may have a slight impact on performance is if the "Garmin Express Service.app" is running in the background and downloading map update files. You can disable the application so it doesn't startup automatically when you boot your iMac. Follow the steps below.

1. Click on the Black Garmin Express triangle from your Menu bar. - The Gray horizontal bar that spans the top of your screen.
2. Click on: [Preferences...]
3. Uncheck: Auto launch at login. - This will disable the application as a logon item. - "This option is in the lower left corner of the Preferences window"
4. Restart your Mac and the Black triangle / service should no longer be running unless you start the application from your Applications folder.
