  • For now, you can still use Garmin's WebUpdater and MapUpdater programs.

If your Mac doesn't meet the system requirements for Express unfortunately you will need to use a different computer or update your preexisting one. Apple has stopped support for OS 10.6.8 or older operating systems. In doing so Garmin has also changed the system requirements for our software.

    Mac

Intel-based Mac running OS 10.7 or higher running in 64bit
1024 x 768 display, USB port and 1 GB RAM
High speed Internet access (Not for use with dial-up, mobile or satellite connections)
May require up to 13 GB free disk space

  • While apple has stopped supporting 10.6.8, there are still 25% of all mac users who still run this OS. I for one can't upgrade my mac from 10.6.8 due to the configurations I need for work-related applications. So in effect Garmin is pushing me onto a competitors website in order to use my watch !
