Hello
I have a nuvi 3598LMTD with European maps. Recently bought a US set of maps and wanted to put on the nuvi using the 'Add to Device' button on the myMaps page of Garmin.com.
When I click through it finds device, but then says (wrongly) that it needs a software update (Garmin Express showing fully up to date).
I press continue and get to the screen saying:
Preparing for download...
Computer ready for download
Updating device software
"Software upgrade complete. Restart device.
Disconnect your device from your computer and allow it to restart itself.
When your device finishes restarting, turn it off.
Connect your device to the computer again.
Wait 30 seconds.
Click Continue."
Somewhere during this process, it falls over. Essentially the device doesn't restart itself.
Any ideas on how to resolve?
