Garmin Edge 705 not connecting to Garmin Express

I have a Garmin 705 with latest firmware. I have a mac with OS 10.7.5 and can upload my workouts using the Garmin Connect (older version), however the modern version Garmin Express does not seem to 'see' my device. I have tried installing Garmin Express multiple times and have rebooted machine but Garmin Express continues not to see my device while plugged into my laptop.

Any suggestions?

I answered my own question... I had installed Garmin Express but didn't run the program doh :o... works fine now!
