How do I do this, the message pretty much froze garmin express
  • What device? You should be able to disconnect it from the mac, then switch it on. This updates the software. Then switch it off and plug it back into your mac.

    Same problem here.
    I have a Forerunner 610. Garmin Express told me an update is available. The Forerunner 610 connects to the computer via an ANT stick.
    I shut down the 610 and started it again, however Garmin Express did not change. The instructions seem inappropriate for this device.
  • Actually it seems the update succeeded. However the behavior of the Garmin Express app was confusing.
