Garmin Express - Mac - Not synching with Forerunner 110

Just switchd today to Garmin Express and having had no probs on old system now cannot synch any of my data on my watch. Garmin Express has defo recognised and registered my device but it just keeps telling that Synch has failed and to retry. Why is this happening and how can I fix it please? I am using a Macbook Air? Thanks. Jane
