Garmin Express deletes my Ant Agent then fails to recognise device

I feel your pain. Having the same problem.

What device are you trying to connect?

And are you running the latest Express?

For me it's a Forerunner 610. Garmin Express doesn't seem to detect it... and yes, running GE 3.2.6.0

In the end, I uninstalled Garmin Express and switched back to ANT agent.

Recognising that ANT agent won't be compatible with Connect for much longer, you may like to try the steps in this thread.

thanks LONGWAYROUND... Haven't tested all the steps in your thread, but i've experienced the same as you so far: Creating a new user and installing Garmin Express on that session worked! For the time being that's enough for me, but i'll eventually look to see if i can get it to work on my main login id.
