Garmin Express on Mac not synching or updating my Edge 510

I have updated to GE v 3.2.6.0 and can no longer synch or download updates for my Edge 510.

I haven't been able to synch with Garmin Connect via my iMac running OS X 10.9.3. This is a little tedious Garmin. Please can you advise. It says "Installing 1 item < 1 minutes remaining' but as you can imagine by me writing this post that is not the case and the updates are not applied nor is my data synched with Garmin Connect!

    I use a MAC and downloaded Garmin express and registered/connected my garmin 200. BUT in "modern" version when I click to send a course to my 200 is says no compatible device found - which is rubbish because it shows as connected under devices. So I switched back to the old (err better in my view) version and hey presto everything worked fine when I clicked to transfer the course to my 200 it did so easily - just as before. I then tried again - switched back to "modern" and tried to send another course and again no joy, back to old version and it worked again...... so Garmin PLEASE sort this out as it you dont I simple will have to stop using the web site I have loved for ages - great site "improvements eh??!
