I can still upload (and view) my cycling activities to my Edge 500 with the standard Garmin Connect. However, when I go to the Modern site, it says there is no device recognized. Multiple times I have opened Garmin Express (which, even though the box is checked in 'preferences' does not automatically open), had it recognize my Edge 500 and then, when it asks whether I want to open a new account or synch with an existing one, I click on 'existing'. This goes to a log-in page where I'm asked for my email/username and password. I enter these and the two boxes go blank. I have no choice then but to exit with nothing accomplished.
It appears that Garmin Express will not recognize my existing account. Can anyone offer any help on this as what this means is as soon as Garmin discontinues the use of Garmin Connect and the older site, I will no longer be able to add to my existing activities or, worst case scenario - not be able to use my Edge 500 at all.
Also should add that I just updated my Garmin Express for Mac app to 3.2.6 and the problem persists.
