Why is Express so slow?

Is there ANYONE out there that can explain WHY Garmin Express is slow. This is ridiculous. Is it user error? Im unable to use my older MAC to upload my data (which BTW worked AWESOME) I did not have any of these issues with my 305. So now I have to use my PC and I am not impressed with this new interface.

Have you checked the requirements for Garmin Express? FWIW it's worth it's working fine on 2 iMacs, 1 late 2010, 1 late 2013 and a new MacBook Pro 13" retina, all with 10.9.3.
