There was a problem communicating with Garmin Servers

Good Day,

I watch my download speed from about 247mb/s and counts down to like 33mb/s then then I get the error message stated in my title...I searched the forums to no avail PLEASE HELP...I paid for a map update for my Nuvi 255W... And I am on a Macbook Pro latest OS garmin is recognized with no issues and I havs an SD card installed...

Can you comment on my issue as well please (see above - garmin express not finding edge 500 with error message about the servers) - have posted a couple of times about this with no response.

Same problem for me.
When trying to upload Software Updates for my ForeRunner620 via Garmin Express, the device is detected but the serial number is not found on the unreachable garmin servers...
I guess some network configurations prevent Garmin Express from reaching the internet. Anybody knows how express tries to reach these servers?

I had the same message last week with a brand new Garmin Forerunner 15 and a brand new Windows 8 laptop. It turned out to be because the date set on the laptop was one day back from reality. When that was put right it worked immediately.
