fenix2 and ANT+ stick with Garmin Express not syncing to Mac

Hi,

I've had my fenix2 now for a while now and it's a great multi-sport watch. It got a bit old to plugging it in using the USB cable after every exercise, so I got an ANT+ stick for my Mac. Garmin Express detects the ANT+ stick but for some reason doesn't see my fenix2. Am I missing something? I thought the fenix2 would be auto-detected by GE? (I've tried the ANT+ stick with two different Macs, both on 10.9.3, using the latest available GE version.) The fenix2 works perfectly with my HRM and my speed/cadence sensors.

Any suggestions and/or clarifications about what should work and how would be greatly appreciated.

Since Fenix 2 can't be synced through ANT+, of course it doesn't see the Fenix 2. If you're getting tired of the USB cable and you have an iPhone, you can sync through the Garmin Connect app (that's done via Bluetooth). Otherwise, get used to using the wire and clip.
