My wife and I share a fenix and have it set up with two user profiles. We share a MacBook to manage the fenix and transfer data from the fenix. So the total system is the fenix, MacBook (latest hardware and OS), Garmin Express, and Safari. We also use Garmin Connect to collect our activities from the fenix.
Here is the problem... a person can only log into GE when the fenix is attached to the computer. So if my wife was logged into GE and I go for a bike ride, when I plug the fenix into the computer, GE synchs and sends my bike ride data to her account. I then have to go and log into GE and go through the whole synch procedure manually.
Can GE be changed so that a fenix does not have to be connected to change the person logged into GE? That would save so much trouble with mis-synched data and having to go and manually delete activities and manually synch activities.
I would like to see the option to log in to GE without a Garmin GPS device attached, or make sure the right person is logged into GE before it executes a synch upon detecting a device has been connected.
