GE Error Sending Training Plan

Hi since I've installed GE I can't sync my calendar workouts/training plan for my device (910XT).

The UI show error when uploading schedules to my device, sometime the device simples shutdown.

Can you please help on how should one sync training plans using GE?

Mac customers who choose to Send Workouts To Device from their Calendar in Modern Connect will encounter the error “There was a problem downloading the update. Please try again”. As a alternative for now, use Classic Connect to send workouts to your device. We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it.

Can I have GE and Garmin Agent both installed?

Garmin Express 3.2.3 for Mac will uninstall ANT Agent from your computer during the install process. It may be possible to install ANT Agent after installing Express, but it is not recommended. I would recommend that you use Classic Connect or Modern Connect on a PC until the issue is resolved.

I don't have any PC. I think garmin should review is quality process asap.

You can switch to Classic view on the Mac and download Workouts. Click on the Profile icon on the left and choose Switch to Classic Temporarily. Once in Classic view you can Send from the Calendar.

Hi Curt,
I've tested your steps, but when trying to send to device, from classic view, there is no device available. I don't have agent installed only GE.
Can you please help on this?

Curt, I tried what you suggested. I had to delete and re-create the Workout I had initially made in Modern, but then it synced. Thanks, this kind of thing keeps me up at night :rolleyes:
