Garmin Express always fails updating HR zones (Fenix 2)

When I change the HR zones in Connect Garmin Express always fails to update the watch. I tried uninstalling, deleting the Express folder inside /Application SUpport/Garmin/ and reinstalling. I also tried hard resetting the watch but it always gives me a message saying: Downloading from Garmin Connect: Sorry, we couldn't sync your device. Please try again.

Any ideas?
