Garmin Express won't see device

Hey Everyone,

My Mac just had a computer update (2011 iMac) and when it restarted Garmin Express popped up as if it was being opened for the first time (i.e. asking me to pair devices) but it will not no matter what I do detect me 910XT. If I open the old Garmin Express program it starts the transfer so the Ant stick is obviously working but I do not understand why Garmin Express has started doing this. Has anyone else had the same issue.

FYI, the garmin is set to sync and pairing is set to yes on the initial set-up screen.

Do you still have ANT Agent installed?

I did see my GE open too, but it has worked properly with the 910XT since the update. Have you tried removing and re-adding your 910?

I do as Garmin Express worked fine.

Bizarrely, I restarted my computer, when it reloaded it come up to install Garmin Connect, did so and everything worked fine! Didn't even ask me to set the device up! Was already associated and appears to be working now. How bizzare!

Not really. Often the old switch off switch on trick works :)

I've downloaded the Garmin Express for MAc and it won't recognize my 310XT or allow me to manually add a device :(

Hi , I am having the same problem with my 910XT not connecting to Garmin Express. I have a MAC, the latest update of the OSX, GE is up to date. I followed all of the steps in the support article above. I have restarted my laptop multiple times and have uninstalled ANT Agent. GE recognises that I have the ANT stick but can't see the 910XT (even though it automatically learnt about I assume from ANT agent).

I have previously had the 910XT very reliably working with ANT Agent and uploading to Garmin Connect. What can I do?
