Sync and update issues on Garmin Express (Mac)

I have exactly the same problem and apparently this is a known problem using the Mac Garmin Express desktop app. We're awaiting an update to Garmin Express for Mac using Apple Silicon. 

I got so frustrated that I ended up setting up a virtual machine on my Mac just to get the update done. On top of that, there's another annoying bug where the "Finish setup" notification won't go away even after completing everything. It's truly frustrating.

Same.  Garmin -- what the !@#$%^& are you doing? This is so amateur-hour....

**Please try the following and check if the same error appears when attempting to update maps on your fenix 9 with Garmin Express.

1. Full uninstall of Garmin Express as there could be corrupted cached data that can't be transferred

2. Try a different USB cable

3. Try on a different Mac

This has been ongoing for a long while. It is not possible to use GE MacOS with any F9 series watches. A fix is long overdue!!!! Currently the only way to use a Fenix 9 and GE is with a Windows machine.

We can see why Garmin is unable to resolve software issues, when you look at the list of troubleshooting ideas.

Then add in your inability to spell ‘Mac’ correctly and we can see how your coding is poor.

Stop taking the piss out of your customers.
