Everything is Gone Even Their Activity Apps

Even the standard Apps were gone and had to reinstall them, including Glances. Got them in, rearranged everything and when i did my sync I got the null red flag. Nothing changed it so i had to go to setting and reinstall the update. So I assume it was the newest Garmin update.

Garmin you can do better than this and now i have to rearrange things and add my settings I want on my activites, like time, heart rate etc., anyone else have this problem, needless to say when I was at the gym last night with no activity to push on I have nothing. 

  • Also can't you install activites from Connect, I mean like take them out, I thought I remember doing that?

  • I'm not quite sure I understand what you are experiencing. Are the activities gone from the watch? What watch do you have and are you saying they were removed when you connected the watch with Garmin Express? 

  • Yes, I went to workout and I went to indoor spin. I used my button like I usually do and there were only like 2 or 3 activities listed in the watch. 
    I had hiking, rowing, running, indoor cycle etc., all gone, it happened with one of the updates. My sync or was it was an update of Connect? 
    So the next day I went through the watch and sure enough gone. 
     They weren’t in Connect either, and I could have added activities through the watch, but that would take forever. 
    I went to Garmin Devices, my watch,  Activities and Apps and there weren’t any apps. 
    I wish I could tell you all the steps to get things back, but I finally did. But I had to redo all my timers after too!
     I remember in part, I went to settings snd reinstalled the 26.09 version.  I think there was a huge hiccup, and really not sure how or why! 
    Of course then I had to rearrange the Apps in Express, so that’s what I was trying to say. I guess better than staring completely over with a factory reset.

    If you want to bookmark that one and follow there for updates as our team investigates this issue. Also make sure you are on the latest version of Garmin Express.

  • Hey, Thanks, I did get everything back in order and I did look at what you said. 
    My problem was also that ALL my Apps that you need, like biking, snowboarding, swimming, rowing, there were only a few left in there,

    I had to put every one back in. They were gone from Connect too. So not only did I have to put those in I had to program how I wanted my data screens too. 

    Rearranging glances was nothing compared to all those apps missing! 
    I’m just grateful I didn’t have to do a complete reset on my watch! Whew Slight smile
