Can't locate device even been hardware connected to iMac "Searching for device" message?

Searching for device message, it is plugged in with Garmin original charging cable. I have reinstalled app, and nothing happens.

On the watch: Menu → System → About, then press the "Light" button 8 times to bring up a "Developer" menu. Then select "Reinstall Software". This will reinstall the "Wireless" component and restore the correct version.
