Garmin Express 7.26.0.0 crashes on Manage Maps

So I just installed Garmin Express 7.26.0.0 (updating from version 7.25.0.0) and now Express crashes when I click Manage Maps for my GPSMAP 67. Anyone else running into this?

And the release notes mention "Fixed an issue on the device dashboard indicating updates are available after successfully completing the updates.", but I'm still seeing the dashboard mentioning updates for Connect IQ apps while no updates are actually available, so this annoying bug doesn't seem to be fixed...

I’m encountering the same issue when I try to go to the card management section. The app crashes every time after a short loading period. I’m using a MacBook Pro M3 on macOS 15.6, and my watch is a Fénix 8 running version 15.33.

same here, Edge Explore 2, Garmin Express 7.26, macOS 13.7.7 clean install, deleted all preferences, app crashes repeatedly on managing maps. Intel iMac 40GB RAM.

I've contacted support, they have created a case for the crash issue. For anyone experiencing the same, I'd suggest reporting the issue to Garmin Support so they can add the reports to the case.

I'm having the same issue on macOS 15.6.0 with Garmin Express 7.26.0.0 and an Edge 840. This is quite frustrating as I'm on vacation and need to install different maps for local routes.

As a workaround I've downgraded to 7.18.0.0, the installer for which is linked in this knowledge base article:

Garmin Express Requirements for Mac and Windows

If you already have 7.26.0.0 you need to first follow the manual uninstall steps below, otherwise the downgraded version won't launch.

Note to Garmin: Debugging this is definitely not how I would prefer to be spending my vacation time!!

No unfortunately not, in all my dealings with Garmin Support in various issues I have never received a case number. Also something Garmin can improve on imho, a lot of companies do this a lot better.

Fixed with version 7.26.1.0 according to the release notes, but I haven't been able to verify whether it works correctly now.

Garmin released a hotfix for this issue, version 7.26.1 to resolve this. However if still experiencing this issue, there is information from the application and system information we will need to research this further.
