Garmin Express on Mac can not connect device

I keep encountering this error, the data step keep loading not allowing me to connect my device. Have you got this error before?

my OS sequoia 15.5. ARM basec Macbook

I have managed to update maps using a virtual machine with Windows OS. You can consider this option if encountering the same error.
