Using Garmin Express 7.25.0.0. Purchased a map update but the download is grayed out

I've tried to logout of my account and login back in again and I uninstall Garmin Express, etc. but nothing works.

I've tried to logout of my account and login back in again and I uninstall Garmin Express, etc. but nothing works.
After I uninstalled the Mac version of Garmin Express AND deleted all of the Library files and reinstalled, now when I hover over the download button, it says "No compatible devices". But I bought the map version using the Active Captain iOS app with my registered device and it offered it to me as an update so one app thinks it's compatible and one app doesn't. My unit is an older marine unit MapGPS 740S, but it new that when it offered it to me to buy ($99).
My device is old and only has an SD card slot. When the 2012 Map version was present, it would let me write it to a blank SD card. Once I purchased the 2025 map version, the download is grayed out and I can't write to SD card. There is no indication of how big of an SD card I need. Mac Console didn't show any Garmin errors I could find. I have reinstalled, restarted, checked for updates. Everything is the latest. I have checked macOS Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Files and Folders permissions and Garmin Express has access to removable volumes.
