Can´t download bigger map to Nüvi 2597 LMT even with memorycard

After having updated the map in my Garmin Nüvi 2597 LMT there is only the map of southern europe. Probably because of not enough memory. I have bought a memory card 32GB but the option to download the full Europe map is missing. Therefore the Garmin GPS is totally useless here in Sweden. Is there any way to get it back?

Try simply reinstalling the map. If that doesn't fix it remove the device from Express then re-add it.

It all started when I updated the maps. After update only the map Southern Europe without Sweden was available. After having read much I believe the big map disappered because of lack of memory. I now have only the option to reinstall the map Southern Europe that doesn´t come with the Swedish map even with a memory card of 32 GB in place. I have tried reinstalling the map but it´s the wrong map. There is no choice to install the original map with Sweden. I have removed and added the device several times, reinstalled the software, reinstalled Garmin Express but no luck.

If removing the device from Express then re-adding it does not work then call Garmin Product Support for help. Alternatively try the cloning method covered here
