Garmin Approach S10 / MacOS Sequoia / Apple Silicon

Computer:

Mac Studio M2 (2023) 
64gB RAM
1TB Storage / 730GB free
MacOS 15.1.1

Garmin Express Software v7.24.0

Garmin Express does not recognize my S10 being plugged in, despite the following
- Garmin Express has been given "Full Disk Access" in my Privacy and Security Settings
- The Garmin Device shows up in my system report as a "Composite Device"   (See attachments)

I was able to borrow a windows computer to sync the latest courses, but I will not have regular access to a windows computer in the future.

  • It seems from my internet research that the Approach S10 is not only discontinued, but unsupported,  so this post may have been a waste of time.   No one from Garmin even had the courtesy to respond. Contemplating If I should upgrade to a newer Garmin product if the behavior is to ignore customers.  Oh Well.
