Garmin Express Mac has lost the ability to sync music.

Express version 7.23.0.0, Mac OS 15.0, FR265 version 20,29

Symptom: Express loses comms with the the 265 after 'music' tab is pressed (Please plug in your device error). It is not a bad connection as other portions/syncing function normally. Everything works as it should on a PC. Multiple cables have been tried, as has a factory reset on the watch.

Express has been uninstalled and reinstalled.

I have run out of ideas.

This is very frustrating! Since you've already tried different cables and reset the watch, maybe check for software updates for both the watch and the Express. If that still doesn't work, it might be a good idea to contact support.

I have continued to troubleshoot. I am able to manually get to the folders on the watch and add/subtract files that way (I use Commander One). (The MTP connection is completely stable).I have confirmed the disconnects are coming from Garmin Express as I can reproduce them reliability when using G.E. but not via other connection methods. Keeping Express running in the background etc settings make no difference. My working diagnosis is Express is losing it's MTP connection when it reaches out to scan the mac to check folders for transfer content.

Thanks, I didn't know it was using MTP. I used OpenMTP and was able to copy some music over fine.

Me too! Forerunner 165 Music Mac OS X Sequoia. Very frustrating. It worked for one sync and now it doesn't work anymore.

me too, I have the same problem, it was confirm about updated version of garmin Express 7.23.0.0 because I have two macbook, and one won't work after update the Garmin Express while another maintain working on syncing music. But the working one because not working after the update

I am having the same problem with FR965.

I performed a master reset on FR965 but it did not change.

FR965 20.32

Garmin Express 7.23.0.0
