Garmin Express 7.21 has bug in detection of a SD card

I wanted to reorganize the maps of my old Oregon 600 and reinstall the Garmin Cycle Map from the purchased maps in GE on the emptied SD card. Installation started, but then reported that there is not enough memory - the SD card was not recognized - no dialog to select SD-card.

I then connected the Oregon to my MB-Air M2 - there is still GE 7.20 installed - here the installation displayed the dialog for memory card selection and installed it without any problems.

Conclusion > Garmin Express 7.21 has an error in the detection of SD cards.

please read the text - Mac mini M1 with Express 7.21 does not detect SD-Card as a installation volume- MB Air M2 with Express 7.20 installs the Cards on the Oregon SD - with the same Oregon, SD-card and cable => the problem ist not the type of Mac or cable, problem is the version of Garmin Express = 7.20 does, 7,21 and 7.22 does not

  • now i have made a downgrade to Express 7.20 and all works fine - no app-start-problems with basecamp, no problems with sd-cards in devices.

Express 7.21 and also 7.22 is a mess
