Software update not working with Garmin Express

I can plug it into my Mac (10.15.7 ) and it will charge. I see there is no support for older (than 11.7) mac OS. I am using Connect 7.18...

Does the lack of support mean I can not update my Instinct Solar 2 ?

You can get software updates though Garmin Connect. Just might take bit more time for it to happen.

Thank you (I do have a newer mac that doesn't have the big screen (my eyes like) and I have to do my taxes on the new computer.. so I can go that way.. our your way..
