Hello...What exactly needs to be completed by me in order for my USB-C connected Nuvi 3597LM device:
(1) to appear within the MacBook Air Finder view and the System Information USB view - the device does not appear in either view (despite definitely being connected to the laptop...when it is plugged into either of the new laptop's two USB-C ports, the Nuvi does power itself on and charges itself up (and it also can be connected to the laptop's Bluetooth)),
An...
(2) to appear as connected in the Garmin Express application to obtain the map updates - it just sits and spins and never ever connects...?
To complete the latest map updates, the Garmin Nuvi 3597LM continues to connect successfully to my old MacBook Pro laptop.
I have reviewed the Garmin Support online content and followed the provided steps but have found no resolution for either of these issues.
I also spoke with Apple Support...and after some troubleshooting, I was told to contact Garmin to obtain resolution.

Garmin Express 6.14.0.0 (I did notice that the latest update cannot be installed.)
