Garmin Express crashing and doesn't sync Apple Music

Hi,

I have a Garmin Epix 2 (fully up to date), Garmin Express (7.17.1.0) for an M1 Mac (13.3.1). Every single time I try to sync music from Apple Music, Garmin Express crashes and doesn't sync anything.

Can someone help me please? I have absolutely no idea what to do and it's kinda upsetting because I don't want to get a spotify or another subscription to be able to use music on my watch

  • Make sure you are using the latest version of Garmin Express. Check the Garmin website or the Garmin Express application for any available updates and install them if necessary. Updating the software can resolve compatibility issues and improve performance. Close Garmin Express completely and restart it. Additionally, restart your computer or mobile device that is running Garmin Express. This can help clear temporary glitches and ensure a fresh start for the application. Verify that your computer or mobile device meets the minimum system requirements for running Garmin Express and syncing Apple Music. Refer to the Garmin Express documentation and Apple Music system requirements to ensure compatibility. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection while using Garmin Express. A poor or intermittent connection can cause issues with syncing and communication. Consider using a wired connection or switching to a different network if possible.

  • I have also the same issue.  UPSers

  • Same.  In my case it won't do the initial sync on a new device where it's trying to sync the latest maps.

Garmin Express is unusable on the Mac.

I'm on the latest Express and latest Mac OS on a M2 version (13.4.1).
