Nuvi 50LM with SD card stalls on install maps

My Nuvi 50LM is updated to the latest Garmin Express and I have a 16gb uSD card install. Garmin Express is seeing the microSD card but once I click install it just sits there for ever.

It says "Step 2 of 2: Updating Maps". but the progress bar never moves.

    When you attempt to install the maps using Garmin Express, it gets stuck on the second step and the progress bar doesn't move.

    There could be several reasons for this issue. It's possible that the microSD card is not compatible with your GPS device, or there could be a problem with the Garmin Express software. It's also possible that the map file on the microSD card is corrupt or incomplete.

    One solution you could try is to remove the microSD card and then insert it again to ensure it is properly seated in the device. You can also try formatting the microSD card to FAT32 and then reinstalling the map update. Additionally, you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling Garmin Express to see if that resolves the issue.
