Garmin Edge 820 not recognized by Macbook Air M2

Garmin Edge 820 is not recognized by Macbook Air M2, I cannot see the device as a drive, it is not seen in the disk utility app, nor via the Terminal, so that the Garmin Express cannot find it. I tried all that I found in internet, I also checked several usb cables and adapters, and nothing works.... so, what is the SOLUTION please!?!?!? Garmin devices are expensive, Macbooks are expensive also... I dont want to spend more money

it seems that Garmin will do nothing to fix this problem....they don't care...

OSX13 (Ventura) + MacBook Air M2: Exactly same issue with Garmin Forerunner. A shame that these quite expensive products, whose value is in principle justified by the connectivity, are not guaranteed to work with newest OS's from Mac, because the Garmin softwares are not up-to-date.

I can not confirm this. Garmin Express syncs fine with my Forerunner 945 LTE on my MacBook Air M2.Do you use an USB hub?

I use an adapter from apple from USB to USB mini

My MacBook Air M2 (under Ventura) recognises well the Garmin watch as an external (mounted) device, but it is Garmin Express which is unable to detect it though mounted.

For info: I use an Apple USB-C - USB adapter to connect the Garmin Forerunner watch.
